Collection and Sorting of PET Waste

PET flex waste is collected from various sources including industrial waste and recycling centers. It is then sorted to remove non-PET materials like caps, labels, and contaminants to ensure quality input material

Washing and Cleaning

The sorted PET flex undergoes thorough washing stages including pre-washing to remove loose dirt, chemical washing with detergents and caustic soda to dissolve adhesives and grease, followed by hot water washing at around 70–90°C. Multiple washings ensure removal of residual food, oils, and labels.

Shredding/Granulation

After cleaning, PET flex is shredded into small flakes or granules, typically sized between 10mm to 15mm, which are easier to process further into polyester fiber.
